The
Annapolis Conflict
A small percentage of Christians
around the world are aware of how the meetings in Annapolis will affect
their lives and will carry very serious consequences for their worship
in the future.
For the majority of Christianity
and the church involved in large denominations, unfortunately they have
no clue as a whole of what is happening in Israel.
Besides, their leaders are
not informing them of what really is at stake in the Annapolis talks.
The end result is that the
people become neutral when it comes to the Holy land.
I am not saying all churches
are like that, but the majority of churches that are dead in the Spirit
are.
Scriptures speak truth when
it declares in Hosea 4: 9 that the people will become like their leaders.
"And there shall
be, like people, like priest:
and I will punish them
for their ways,
and reward them their
doings."
Hosea 4:9
KJV
What this tells me is that the
flock will become like their pastor, their pastor like their leaders and
the leaders like the denomination.
So if the denominations,
the leaders and ultimately the pastors in America are not informing and
showing the people to take a stand for the Holy Land, the flock is going
to become just like them.
They become like them not
appreciating the Jewish people and the wonderful heritage.
There is so much noise in
churches these days.
So many lights, so much dancing,
so much screaming that they have become like a regular Broadway show.
Their heart is in the right
place. But they hinder the Holy Spirit.
In all this smoke, in all
these lights, in all this screaming, I do not see the Power of God.
People come in to church
sick and they leave, they go home sick.
They come in hungry for God
and they go home hungry for God.
In all this, their pastors
are not telling the people the truth. The fact that the Ark of the covenant
has been removed from their midst is even hidden from them.
A statistic as simple as
this just in case that you did not know, at the time Bethlehem was given
to the Palestinian Authority, Bethlehem was 85% Christian.
Just two years ago, there
were fifteen percent Christians living in this city, today you will be
fortunate enough to maybe find five percent living there.
Bethlehem and Bethany are
is a virtual ghost towns. Could that be prophetic?
You are allowed to visit,
when you do your heart will break once you go there. However you can go,
but you can go at your own risk.
So you can imagine that hardly
any tours go there anymore.
People are afraid, and rightfully
so, to go there because there is so much violence.
These cities are ruled by
Palestinians.

The city of Bethany now is
not an option to be visited since it is behind the security wall.
It can happen with careful
planning but is rarely done. People just do not want to take the chance.
Many have the mind set this
war has raged for thousands of years and it will not impact us.
Wrong, there are numerous
ways it will impact us.
So many that if we put them
all on the table no one would agree, and once again we will have a theological
battle.
However, there is one part
of this situation that we all can agree upon if we all knew.
So let us focus on this one
area we can all agree on and get to the bare facts and what the results
will be.
Because the pressure is being
applied now, we cannot wait until the summit begins to let the White House
know how we feel.
We need to act today.
Basically, the bottom line
is to return to the pre 1967 borders.
So, what does this mean?
All areas that were acquired
after the war of 1967 must go back.
This includes Judea, Samaria,
and East Jerusalem.
Now let us look at what all
is involved and what is at stake.
All of our holy sites in
East Jerusalem will go under Palestinian Authority. This is NOT
a good thing.
They are saying all of East
Jerusalem, which is more than the 1967 border.
Is this a bad thing?
Now in East Jerusalem, the
areas we will lose will be the following:
1.)
The Garden
Tomb.
Located outside the Old City
walls north of the Damascus Gate.
Nearby is a barren knoll,
according to some fits the description of John 19:20 Golgotha.
Several feet down is a tomb
that many believed that of Joseph of Arimathea.
This area is surrounded
in tranquility.
An area of worship of believers
all over the world weeping and praying and worshiping at a holy site they
feel so dear to them.
2.)
Pool of Bethesda.
Located near the Lion's Gate
in the Old City.
This is the area believed
where Jesus healed the man that had been ill for 38 years. John 5:2-9.
3.) Via Dolorosa - "Way
of Sorrows."
Located along the road by
Christian Quarter Road, and to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
4.)
The Upper Room.
Traditional site of the Last
Supper and also known as Holy Zion.
Located just outside the
Old City walls on Mount Zion.
5.)
Golden Gate.
Also known as the Eastern
Gate located East of the Temple Mount.
This is the area that Jesus
will return, and is now sealed off.
6.)
House of Caiaphas.
This is the area Jesus predicted
Peter would deny him three times before the cock crowed.
It also contains several
underground prisons which are believed to have held Jesus before his trial.
This also is believed to
be the home of the High Priest, Caiaphas.
7.)
Garden of Gethsemane.
Located at the foot of the
Mount of Olives, just above the Kidron Valley.
This is the area the disciples
were told to be on guard while Jesus prayed to the Father.

Shortly afterwards he was
arrested.
8.)
Mount of Olives.
This area is where Jesus
triumphal entry into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday.
This area is one of the most
important sites of Jerusalem.
It plays such a key role
in the life of Jesus and the Christian faith.
9.)
The Mount of Ascension.
This is located at the peak
of the Mount of Olives and is considered the site of ascension.
"And while they looked
steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them
in white apparel;"
"which also said,"
"Ye men of Galilee, why
stand ye gazing up into heaven?"
"this same Jesus, which
is taken up from you into heaven,"
"shall so come in like
manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
Acts 1:10-12
KJV
The cities of Bethany and
Bethlehem are complete in Chaos.
The cities that have been
handed over to the Palestinians in the past by the State of Israel have
been ruined, destroyed by the hands of the Palestinians.
They are virtually ghost
towns. They have been governed and ruled by the Palestinians since Israel
handed them over.
The information provided
here is that you may act according to your convictions.
Presently there are eighty
so-called evangelical leaders who are pressuring President Bush into making
a Palestinian State.
This must never take place.
Are we to expect to have
Jerusalem ruled by Palestinians?
Even now in the areas where
the Arabs / Palestinians population lives in Jerusalem, the areas are kept
filthy, dirty and unsafe.
The government of Israel
supplies garbage collectors, garbage cans virtually in every corner and
hands them clean neighborhoods.
The conclusion of the US-hosted
Middle East peace summit in Annapolis, Maryland has further highlighted
a growing rift within the Evangelical Christian community over the degree
of support for Israel's biblical right to the lands between the Jordan
River and Mediterranean Sea.
If these neighborhoods are
turned into slums and garbage dumps over night, are we to expect the same
thing to take place to the lands between the Jordan River and Mediterranean
Sea?
I have seen with my own eyes,
how they throw garbage on the sidewalks and on the streets of their neighborhoods.
They ignore the garbage cans
purposely. They ignore the local laws.
It is a spirit of defiance
and conflict.
Their actions speak fro themselves.
Jerusalem must not be allowed to become a ghost town like the cities that
the Palestinians have taken over in the past.
Are we to assume that the
entire city of Jerusalem will become the Garbage dump for the Arab/Palestenian
people living in Jerusalem?
Even in the area where the
Dome of the Rock is located is not respected by them. And they dirty it
as well.
What are we left to think?
How can they even dare to
negotiate taking parts of the city of Jerusalem?
A day after the summit, the
leaders of the three most prominent Jerusalem based Evangelical ministries
told The Jerusalem Post that the re-division of the holy city and the surrender
of Israel's biblical heartland - an effective reversal of prophecy - are
unacceptable concepts for Bible believing Christians and Jews.
"The sanctity of Jerusalem
as the capital of the Jewish State is something very sacred which has both
historical and religious associations for the Jewish people going back
thousands of years," said International Christian Embassy Jerusalem
director Rev. Malcom Heading.
"We view any attempt to
divide the city as a tragic wedge that is unacceptable."
Ray Sanders, executive director
of Christian Friends of Israel, called Muslim claims to sovereignty over
these lands, and especially Jerusalem, "preposterous," and said
Israel was doing itself a great disservice by failing to more aggressively
counter such allegations.
US-based Evangelical heavyweights
such as John Hagee and Pat Robertson share the position of
the Jerusalem ministries, and vigorously oppose any surrender of Israel's
biblical birthright to its Islamic foes.
But another group of lesser
known American Evangelical leaders who have taken a position previously
described as humanist, rather than biblical, are again urging US President
George W. Bush to rapidly divide the Land of Israel.
In a joint statement released
this week, the over 80 liberal Christian college and seminary presidents,
denominational heads, and other ministry leaders declared:
"We...resolve to work for
a viable permanent, democratic Palestinian State..."
"We believe that the way
forward is for the Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate a fair, two state
solution. ..."
"We call on all (evangelicals,)
(all Christians,) and everyone of good will to join us to work and
pray faithfully in the coming months for a just, lasting two state solution
in the Holy Land."
