But if we as a powerful
local and global army believe by faith, that our capacity to receive from
God is immeasurable, then our prayers will be simpler and much more effective.
They will be powerful and with much results, sure and more secure. **

Throughout
scripture we are told that The Lord is at hand, near you, even on your
lips. The New Covenant is full of parables where the Lord is being shown
as coming at a moment's notice, "like a thief in the night. Therefore
be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh."
Matthew
24:44 KJV
Repeatedly scripture instructs
us that the Lord is returning, and indeed He is, but He is returning for
those who are looking for Him, for those who are really in anticipation
for His return.
This clearly tells me that
there will be those who are not waiting nor anticipating for His return.
When He finally comes back for His bride many will be caught off guard.
They will not be waiting for Him to return at all.
Those not waiting for the
return of a glorified Messiah will have a very different lifestyle than
those that are waiting for their Savior. Their conduct will be totally
the opposite of those who are waiting for their Master.
In the Second letter of Paul
to Timothy in chapter 4:8, it states that He is coming for all who love
His appearing.
"And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly
look forward to his glorious return."
The scriptures also tells
us in the same second letter to Timothy 4:3 that there will be a time before
the Lord's return when. . .
"they will not
endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from
the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
2 Timothy
4:3 KJV
Have we stopped looking for
the Lord's return? Or have we become so involved in the world's lifestyle,
its gods, its decaying moral standard that we have forgotten how vital
and important it is to be on guard for our faith and carry on with a life
here on earth that is worthy of a Holy God?
Are we really that consumed
with this world and its destructive way of living that we have forgotten
how necessary it is for our spiritual survival to be totally connected
to the God that gives us life?
This life that comes from
Him is the only hope that leads us in helping others to come and enjoy
the same love of God, the same salvation of God that we sometimes take
so much for granted.
The future He has reserved
for us is the only way out of all the suffering, and corruption this world
has. It is a glorious future and it is available to all living pn planet
earth today.
John the revelator under
the inspiration of the Holy Spirit describes this glorious future by declaring
the following;
"And God shall wipe away
all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no
more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be
any more pain:
for the former things
are passed away."
Revelation
21: 4 KJV
