HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The hope that the words Happy New Year bring is of God. He has designed the seasons, the calendar and time itself. He planned it this way so that we would always be moving toward the end of one thing and going towards the beginning of another. 

These are words with qualities of New beginnings which inspire hope and leave a hopeful ring in our ears, "Happy New Year are always heard on December 31st." These are soothing words which bring, confidence to the hearer. 

These are words that inspire new beginnings and resolutions, new priorities and second chances to forceful forgotten pasts and repeated failures. These words can be inspiring and filled with anticipation.

SITTING AT HIS FEET

Everything the Lord requires of us begins at His feet. It's actually very simple, but often not so easy. We're so compelled to go and do, even in the things God requires of us. We think we aren't pleasing Him or anyone else unless we are doing.

But the doing becomes confusing when we do not take the time to sit at the feet of Jesus. He is the Alpha and Omega. We must begin and end everything with Him—each new year and each new day.
