WHEN CHANGE DOES NOT COME FROM THE TOP
REVOLUTION RISES FROM THE BOTTOM

Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem
Psalm 122:6 KJV
and thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
Exodus 40:12-15 KJV
Did you know that if you are Jewish, firstborn, male, whose parents are neither High Priests or (Cohanim or Levites) and your mother didn't have a previous miscarriage ... and you were born in the usual manner, not by ceasarean section, you are required to be redeemed from a High Priest? (Cohen.)
This good deed (mitzvah) goes back to 3,321 years ago during the Exodus from Egypt.
THE TRANGRESSION
Before the transgression of the Golden Calf, the firstborn sons were designated to be the priests unto the Most High God (Cohanim) for the nation of Israel.
"For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself."
Numbers 8:17 KJV
However, since they and all the males of every tribe except the tribe of Levy
were involved in the incident with the Golden Calf, the priesthood was taken away from them. It was instead given to the descendants of Aaron from the tribe of Levy.
"And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel."
Numbers 8:18 KJV
Even though the firstborn lost their positions, they were still consecrated to the Almighty for all time; they require a PIDYON, a redemption, of their holiness.
"But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty."
Exodus 34:20 KJV
The Jewish tradition teaches that in the time of the Final Redemption the firstborns will be returned to the position of PriestHood or (Cohanim.) All Isreal will be saved.

The final redemption has already taken place through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Please read Hebrews 9: 11-27 KJV

The final redemtion has already taken place. Yeshua (Jesus) has come, redemmed us and paid the price, He walked into the Holy of Holies with His own blood and redemmed us with His own life.

Returned in John 20:19 and gave the pomise of eternal redemtion of Hebrews 9:15 to His disciples. The Holy Ghost.

"ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."
1 Peter 2:5 KJV

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"

1 Peter 2:9 KJV
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony is called a Pidyon HaBen, Redeeming the Son

The father is required to circumsised the son on the eigth day and on the 31th day from his birth redeem his son with five silver shekels or coins. They had to amount to 117 grams of silver.

This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
Genesis 17: 10 KJV

And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

Genesis 17:12 KJV
CIRCUMCISION IN THE ANCIENT WORLD
The rite of circumcision is far older than the Hebrew people. Cave paintings give evidence that it was practiced in prehistoric times. Egyptian temple drawings show that the operation was common in 4000 BC and probably earlier. Peoples practicing circumcision lived on almost every continent. And the practice was first adopted by Hebrews as a covenant from the Most High God.

The rite was observed among Central and South American Indians, Polynesians, the peoples of New Guinea, many Australian and African tribes, Egyptians, and pre-Islamic Arabs.

The rite however is not mentioned in the Koran, the sacred book of the Muslims since this is only a Covenant of the True god of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. But because Muhammad was circumcised, tradition dictates that male Muslims must follow the ancient custom.

Until the age of 13, the father is responsible to redeem the son. After that, the son is required to redeem himself until he dies.

A High Priest (Cohen) told me once of a celebration where the son, the father and the grandfather all had their redemption ceremonies, one following the other. Though it is a rare celebration, it is a very festive and spiritual celebration.

It takes place during a Seudas Mitzvah, an obligatory festive meal. The Seudas Mitzvah is compossed of at least a minyan, or 10 Jewish males, and all have to be over 13 years old or after they have received Bar-Mitzvah. They first wash their hands then they eat bread. After the meal has begun, the ceremony can take place.

THE BABY
The 31 day old baby is brought in on a silver tray adorned with jewelry from the attending women. This is done to beautify the good deed or the redemtion (mitzvah.)
"But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty."
Exodus 34:20 KJV
The father presents the baby to the High Priest (Cohen) and declares that the baby is the first born to his mother according to all of the requirements of the Law (Torah.)

The High Priest (Cohen) then asks the father, "Which do you prefer - to give me your first born ... or to redeem him for five shekels as the Law (Torah) obligates you?"

The father declares, "I wish to redeem my son and I give you the value of his redemption as I am required to do by the Law" (Torah)

The father then takes 5 silver coins, some High Priests (Cohanim) have a custom to use 6 coins to make sure that the amount of silver exceeds the minimum requirement of (117 grams) and recites the following blessing:

"Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us regarding the redemption of the son."
Then he recites a second blessing:
"Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, Who has kept us alive, sustained us, and brought us to this time."
The High Priest (Cohen) accepts the money, makes a verbal declaration that the child is redeemed and blesses him with the traditional blessing of the High Priest (Cohanim:)
"May the Almighty make you like Ephraim and Menashe.

May the Almighty bless you and safeguard you.

May the Almighty shine His countenance upon you and be gracious unto you;

May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace."

The High Priest (Cohen) returns the child to the father, takes a cup of wine and makes the blessing over the wine. And then everyone continues with their meal.

The True Jewish Kabbalah and not the counterfeit one,

(By the way not all works bearing the name Kabbalah is authentic. The term has been falsely used by many different kinds of charlatans, leading detractors to associate it with magic and witchcraft, which are the very opposite of the true Kabbalah.)
tells us that attending a Pidyon HaBen, Redeeming the Son is equal to 84 fasts which atone for many transgressions! However we know that the the book of Hebrews declares that there is no atoenment without the shedding of Blood.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 9:22 KJV
The question the High Priest (Cohen) asks the father "Which do you prefer, the baby or the money?" is on one hand rhetorical and on the other hand a very deep question.

There is NO WAY a father is going to or allowed to give his son to a High Priest. (Cohen) However, there is a very powerful question that every parent should keep in mind.

"Which do you prefer, your child or spending more time in the office?"

We as ministers of the word and parents must always be aware that our children come first before all our other desires and responsibilities.

By no means all works bearing the name Kabbalah are authentic.
The term has been falsely used by many different kinds of charlatans, leading detractors to associate it with magic and witchcraft, which are the very opposite of the true Kabbalah.

In rabbinic Hebrew, the word kabbalah refers to an item or items of Torah knowledge received from a reliable source.

The term is applied both to the biblical prophets (as in Rashi on Exodus 12:39) or to teachings from the Oral Law handed down by the Rabbis to their students by word of mouth.
