In
our last "A NIGHT OF WORSHIP WITH THE LORD" I taught on how to execute
the covenant of Blood. God is an awesome GOD and God is faithful. This
same God of creation who made His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
has continued His promises through out the ages and fulfilled His WORD.
I
often meditate on a story of a man who, in search of God, came to study
at the feet of an old sage (a mentor in spiritual and philosophical topics
who is renowned for profound wisdom.)
The master
brought this young man to a lake and led him out to the place where the
water reached his shoulders.
As he placed
his hands upon his pupil's head, quickly he pushed his pupil under the
water and continued to hold him there until the disciple, feeling he would
surely drown, frantically repelled the old man's resistance.
Confused and
in shock the young man resurfaced. "What are you doing?" he questioned
the sage. His teacher looked him in the eyes and said, "When you desire
God as you desired air, you shall find Him."
Was this not
the attitude of psalmist the when he wrote, "As the hart panteth after
the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God." Psalm
42:1 KJV
You see, there
is a place in our worship where we are seeking God, there is where our
heart goes beyond the limits of desire, where the actual issue, the seeking
of HIM becomes one of survival.
I must need
Jesus Christ as a drowning man needs air in order to survive and as a parched
deer needs water in order to continue its existence.
It is here,
where we feel we cannot exist without seeking and finding the reality of
God, that our deepest passion is fulfilled.
He is faithful
to guide ALL those who are willing to listen and obey His WORD. As you
do, you become part His chosen people.
History is
a witness of Deuteronomy 28 coming to pass in the lives of those who acknowledge
HIM as LORD and SAVIOR. They, who acknowledge HIM as LORD and SAVIOR, do
fulfill their assignment and their ultimate destination.
Exodus 2:24
declares that "God heard their groaning," and as a faithful GOD
that He is, "God remembered His covenant that He made with Abraham,
with Isaac, and with Jacob".
And so in the
fullness of time, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will again fulfill
His promises of delivering His people.
The
apostle Paul under the unction of the Ruach-Ha-Kodesh, the Holy
Spirit (The Holy Wind, Breath) of God said. . .
"And so
all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion
the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob"
Romans
11:26 KJV
Does that mean
that Israel is being saved now?
No! Only when
they openly receive their deliverer and only then. The descendants of the
Israel that will be living at that time ( by that I am refering to the
time when ALL Israel confesses Yeshua (Jesus as Lord and Saviour)
and receives Him as such, are the one that will be saved.
"Who is
this Deliverer?
It is Messiah
YESHUA
(Salvation) Jesus, the one John His cousin referred to when on
'The next
day John (His cousin) seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the
Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
John
1:29 KJV
The Sacrifice
Of Passover
Points To
The Sacrifice
Of
Messiah
Yeshua, (Jesus)
took the already existing elements of the Matzo (Unleavened Bread)
and the third cup of Passover, the "Cup of Redemption" and fulfilled
their meaning.
"Ye
shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened
bread."
Exodus
12:20 KJV
"And the blood
shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see
the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to
destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt."

"And
he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying,
This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise
also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my
blood, which is shed for you.'"
Luke
22:19-20
The Exodus from
physical
bondage to Pharaoh in Egypt points to our spiritual redemption in Messiah.
"And
it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will
give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service."

"Who hath delivered
us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom
of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the

The
Journey Of Passover For Both
Jews And Gentiles Towards
The Sacrifice Of Messiah
What a blessing
it is to be able to help both the Gentiles and the Jewish people go through
the journey of Passover.
The facts of
the Passover Exodus from the land of Egypt which represents bondage all
the way home to the land of Cannan through the amazing witness of Passover
and its fulfillment in Messiah is beyond words.
For many Jewish
people, the glorious tale of liberation from bondage to Pharaoh and the
journey to the Promised Land has become the whole of Jewish history. It
has become a painful journey that leads home and it is undertaken
against all odds.
Why?
Because
Passover might be the most emotionally satisfying Jewish holiday of them
all.
Why?
Because
Passover is family.
Why?
Because
somewhere in the soul of even the most cynical Jewish or Gentile agnostic
there lurks the memory of a multi generational family gathering where the
story of the Exodus was told and the tastes of the Passover meal were savored.
For this reason,
Passover is a marvelous opportunity to connect with both your Jewish and
Gentile friends and neighbors.
Therefore in
this season of Passover Shout Of Victory Ministries takes the opportunity
once again to tell and share the story of Messiah, the Lamb of God, through
the story of Passover.
But above all,
we know that once we accomplish this mandate, we are taking part of the
greatest work humanity has been placed in charged of.
We have been
placed in charged of the Blood. We have been placed in charged of the covenant.
We
are taking part of the redemptive story of Israel's Exodus from Egypt that
so eloquently points to the redemptive work of God's Messiah on the cross
to redeem humanity.
