The Next War

This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

"At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind, and you will devise a wicked scheme. You will say, ‘Israel is an unprotected land filled with unwalled villages!"

Ezekiel 38:10 KJV
Yet, these future invaders will be less successful than the Nazis from W.W.II.

Why?

Because Ezekiel has also predicted that God will supernaturally interfere by destroying the armies that come attacking the apple of His eye.

The prophesies of Ezekiel that refer to the regathering of the nation of Israel and the soon coming attack by her enemy Gog and Magog are the most specific and the easiest to recognize in the Hebrew scriptures.

The Gog and Magog of Ezekiel chapter 38 and chapter 39 are clear and refer only to Russia.

"Magog" was the only son of Japhet, who according to Josephus, the great Jewish historian, settled north of the Black sea.

Tubal and Meshech were the fifth and sixth sons of Japhet.

Their descendants settled south of the Black sea.

These tribes intermarried and became known internationally as Magog.

"And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him.

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee."

Ezekiel  38 KJV
"Art thou come to take a spoil?
Hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey?
To carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?"
Ezekiel 38:13 KJV
As Israel's enemies come from the north to attack her, God sends a great earthquake and a mighty shaking.

So great is the shaking that "mountains will be thrown down."

"That the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground."
Ezekiel 38:20 KJV
Then The Lord God Almighty rains on the enemies of Israel, Gog and Magog, hailstones, fire and brimstones.

He also floods them with unstoppable rain and invades them with pestilence.

It is not over until the big boss says it is over I always say and at the end of this battle not one of Israel's enemies will be left standing.

Israel will find her enemy's corpses laying all over the land. They will serve as food for the birds of prey and food for the beasts of the fields.

The victory will be great. So great it will be that the scriptures say that the people of Israel will spend seven months finding and burying the dead troops from the far north, now turned into corps.
This leaves no other choice but to make a common grave in what will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog

All their weapons of war used by the enemy will be gathered up by Israel and will be burned.

Scriptures says that there will be so much weaponry left over by the enemies of Israel, that it will take seven years to burned them all up.

It will be interesting to know that it will take just as much time to burn all these weapons as the Great Tribulation spoken by the prophet Daniel will take to take its course.

The prophet Jeremiah refers to the time of the Tribulation as "Jacob's trouble."

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
Jeremiah 30:7 KJV
The Lord Yeshua also referred to the time of the tribulation as the shortest but most severe and traumatic time in human history.

The time of the tribulation is considered to be the worst time the world has ever gone through before.

Even far worst than the time of the inquisition and the time of the Holocaust will the time of the Great Tribulation described by Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

The astonishing events of the Great Tribulation are never ending. I will go into more details later.

The prophet Daniel explains that the evil Prince that will come will make a covenant with Israel and it will last a seven. Not until this covenant is made will the Great Tribulation begin.

This is what will set off the Great Tribulation.

As soon as the covenant is signed, a covenant of peace where Israel will be allowed to build her temple again, the Great Tribulation, or Jacob's Trouble will begin.

"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;

and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

And he, (the prince - the Anti Anointing - Anti Meshiach - Anti Christ) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:

and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the over spreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

Daniel 9:24-27 KJV
